Al Naboodah Travel All Set to Facilitate Tourism and Business Travel Between the UAE and Israel
Dubai, UAE, 1st October, 2020: Al Naboodah Travel, the travel and tourism business of Al Naboodah Group Enterprises, is gearing up to facilitate a huge exchange of passengers between the United Arab Emirates and Israel, following the historic normalisation of political relations and newly-established friendship between the two nations.
Preparations are already fully underway by Al Naboodah Travel, a business with over 45 years of experience in the travel industry in the GCC region. Hebrew-language tour guides are being arranged for Israeli visitors, and the company is putting in place agreements with several boutique hotels in the UAE to implement fully Kosher kitchens and facilities in the hotels for the comfort of our Jewish guests.
Speaking on the preparations, Nasir Jamal Khan, CEO of Al Naboodah Travel, said: “We are very excited about this new opportunity to establish strong links between the two nations, and we project that roughly 1.2 million passengers will travel between the UAE and Israel within the first year. We are still waiting for final details on border arrangements and COVID-19 measures, but once those are in place, we intend to open an office in Israel, and actively encourage tourism and business travel between the UAE and Israel.”
With expansion plans in place to numerous up and coming destinations across the world, Al Naboodah Travel fully intends to add Israel to its plans, with a new office in the city of Tayibe. The company’s focus will be to supply both retail and wholesale travel services between the two countries. Al Naboodah Travel is currently in discussions with 3 Israeli airlines for GSA representation, as well as several tour operators in Israel for both inbound and outbound travel services.
A Warm Welcome
Israeli visitors can expect a warm welcome to the United Arab Emirates, as the country’s leadership has promoted tolerance and understanding of all faiths over the years. Currently there are two synagogues in Dubai serving the emirate’s Jewish community.
In addition, in the UAE’s capital of Abu Dhabi, a historic landmark project called the “Abrahamic Family House” is a religious complex which combines a mosque, a synagogue and a church in an enduring symbol of tolerance, which is due to open in 2022.
Culturally, the UAE is already prepared for Jewish visitors, with a kosher catering company called Kosher Arabia already well-established in Dubai. The company was founded by one of the Orthodox Jewish community leaders in the UAE. A Kosher restaurant is also planned to be open in the UAE, and local airlines will be offering a Kosher option on their menus in the near future.
Visiting Israel
Al Naboodah Travel is planning a host of exciting packages and activities for travellers from the UAE to Israel, including boutique luxury packages, Christian Holy Land tours, Umrah Plus Al Aqsa Mosque programmes, Tel Aviv City Breaks and Classic Israel Tours.
Experiences that travellers to Israel can enjoy include Dead Sea trips, biking and hiking in the Judean Hills, horse riding in the Galilee, kayaking in the River Jordan, hot air balloon flights and much, much more.
