Environment
Protecting and conserving the environment in which we live and work represents an
important part of our Sustainability activities.
Working internally
Internally we work hard to reduce our carbon footprint through employee engagement
programmes promoting more recycling for example, using less paper, and sharing tips
on how to reduce the use of energy.
Al Naboodah Construction Group, operating in carbon intensive areas, work hard to
reduce their own impact on the environment by the implementation of their waste
management system.
Al Naboodah Real Estate Investment LLC has been particularly active in supporting
initiatives like the Emirates Environmental Group’s (EEG) Can Collection Campaign,
which aims to raise recycling rates.
Working externally
We also support external bodies such as the Emirates Wildlife Society in association
with WWF (EWS-WWF). The EWS-WWF is a non-profit environmental organisation, with
offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Fujairah, which works throughout the region in a
number of areas including helping to protect bio-diversity, reducing the UAE’s ecological
footprint, and highlighting the UAE’s responsibility on the international conservation
scene
