The Harvard Medical School
Situated in the heart of Dubai, at Dubai Health Care City, this iconic building
was built on an area of 583,300 sq ft to follow both Harvard specifications, and
Arabic architectural values. The project involved the creation of a mixture of medical
school and retail spaces, with two parking basements for a total of 385 cars, and
two towers (an East wing and a West wing) centrally connected with a three storey
atrium. It has a 337 seat auditorium. The construction of Harvard Medical School
was designed to meet the mission of the Dubai Government to boost and develop Dubai
Health Care City, to become a centre of excellence focusing on health care delivery,
medical education and research.
