Direct access to the Jebel Ali Free Zone is one of the primary strategic objectives of the Dubai World Central Airport and this project delivered key infrastructure works to facilitate this access requirement.

As well as the structural element, a network of roads and core infrastructure services were provided to join the Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road formerly known as Emirates Road to the main access gate at the Dubai World Central Airport. The focal point of the whole contract was the construction of a 520 metre twin, multi-span post tensioned concrete box girder that crossed the Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road, providing the key link to the on-going major infrastructure works at the Jebel Ali Free Zone.
